Having now been with us for just over three years, William is comfortably part of the Ampla Finance furniture. Joining in an administration role, he now works in our Growth Team, introducing family law professionals to our offering. 

We asked him a few questions about his role at Ampla and the wider market

 

 

 

 

“How long have you been with Ampla Finance?” 

 “I started with Ampla in November 2022 – three years have absolutely flown by, and so much has changed. It’s been a great learning journey, especially for it being my first time working in the city.” 

 

“What makes Ampla the go-to for legal lending?” 

 “For me, two of our strongest traits are our simplicity and personal touch. The steps we have taken to simplify the products for our customers and introducers have been brilliant and make my job much easier – I get to be the person to share the good news about them! Likewise, that personal touch is something I really enjoy – I have the solicitors I speak to regularly. I get to learn from them as much as I can and be a direct link into Ampla for them, knowing they’ll get a quick answer that means a better outcome for their clients.” 

 

“What part of the role do you enjoy the most?” 

“Simple, my favourite part of my role here is being able to problem solve for the solicitors we work with. In my time here I’ve got involved with everything from our website and portal, the Ampla Hub, to answering tough client or solicitor questions over the phone and navigating onboarding the firms we work with.” 

 

“Tell us a bit about your life outside of Ampla?” 

 “Before joining Ampla, I attained a degree in music – whilst not putting it to practical use, it is still my first love, and I’m regularly going to gigs and seeing live music. I’m a keen footballer, and what I lack in ability I make up for with pure enthusiasm. I play a few times a week, it helps to keep me fit – although I’m really getting into Padel, where again my effort trumps my skill level. There seems to be a pattern developing!” 

 

“What are your personal and professional goals over the next 12 months?” 

“I happen to have recently moved into my first flat, so the next year will definitely be a lot of trial and error with decorating and DIY to get myself settled. Professionally, I’m looking forward to continuing to grow my network and getting out to a few more events. There are a lot of things I can’t talk about yet that are exciting for us here that I’m looking forward to sharing with my contacts!”
